Canon Malaysia recently featured 10 female photographers at its booth at The Star’s Clove magazine inaugural FemmeCity Exhibition at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from 30 July - 1 August 2010.

I was honoured to be one of the featured photographers together with Anna Rina, Grace Tan, Evelyn Lam, Fiona, Bonnie Yap, Shuhada Hasim, Naomi Ching and Norafifi Ehsan. The images of the photographers and our works were displayed at the EOS Ladies DSLR Corner.

Painted Face
Painted face

Chinese opera evolved from folk songs, dances, talking, antimasque, and especially distinctive dialectical music.

Warrior queen

Gradually it combined colorful costumes, make-up, acrobats, jesters, storytellers, literature, acting, poetry and martial arts to present the Opera in a very attractive way.

Anguish

Accompanied by traditional musical instruments like the Erhu, the gong, and the lute, actors present unique melodies.
